Greetings on behalf of the Association of Cytologists of Maharashtra [ACM], /n a registered association for all Pathologists and Cyto technicians in Maharashtra. ACM was established in 2017 and is affiliated to the parent body of Indian Academy of Cytologists. Within past few years, ACM has earned reputation by formulating a website of its own, organizing scientific conferences [ MACyCON ] every year including a prestigious oration in the name of Dr. Shobha Grover and providing a platform for presenting research papers, posters, cases in slide seminars and quiz sessions.

Active efforts are being made by worldwide cytology experts to standardize the technique and reporting of Cytology in Uniform formats for various organ systems. This is helping to predict risk of malignancy and formulating management protocols to make it clinically relevant in day to day practice. It is the need of time that every pathologist and cytotechnologist is aware about current happenings in cytology and should get trained in cytology practice. ACM is committed to satisfy all these academic needs.

It’s my sincere appeal to one and all in the field of cytology to become members of ACM. It is beneficial for PG students, consultants, practicing pathologists, medical teachers and cyto technicians for interactions in the field of cytology. The yearly conference of Association [ MACyCON ] involves eminent National and International cytology faculty. Other academic activities are also organized from time to time and you are welcome if you wish to organize any such activities in collaboration with ACM. We are expanding our horizon and your participation is valuable in this journey.
